General Summary:
Performs maintenance on Company facilities including mechanical equipment and structures, as well as buildings and grounds. Evaluates Company buildings and grounds to insure proper upkeep and maintenance including environmental systems. Assists Facility Supervisor in the planning of maintenance and repairs to Company facilities including advising on annual work plans and budget utilizing acquired project management skills. Duties may include welding, machine and equipment repair, carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Loads, unloads and stocks materials including plant supplies, tools and equipment. Operates forklift, skid-steer loader, tele-handler and similar equipment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus two to five years of specialized training in electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC. Previous construction or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid SD Commercial driver’s license, have an excellent driving record, and be insurable under the company’s insurance policy.
